Designed to operate on CDMA supporting Sprint EVDO Rev A Mobile Broadband service. Average download speeds are 600 kbps - 1.4 Mbps with peak speeds of 3.1 Mbps. Average upload speeds are 350-500 Kbps with peak speeds of 1.8 Backwards compatible to CDMA EVDO and 1xRTT in areas where Sprint EVDO Rev A coverage is not available. With the latest version of Sprint Mobile Broadband software, users can take advantage of Sprint Location Services to conduct a "locate and search" inquiry. Using the GPS chipset embedded in the device, users can plot their current location on a map and then search for nearby points of interest such as gas stations, banks or restaurants. This device has a microSD slot that supports up to a 4GB memory card (sold separately), which allows you to store data on the card. The optional microSD card may be removed from the device at any time without interrupting your connection. With on-board NAND flash memory simply insert the device, allow the software and drivers to load onto the computer, select automatic activation, and connect to the network right away!
